Athletes in Action Ultimate Training Camps

Every year, Athletes in Action (AIA), a Cru ministry, hosts two to three Ultimate Training Camps (UTC).

These week-long camps push college students to the limits of their physical performance. The athletes are also trained in leading Bible studies, initiating spiritual conversations, and leading with character. When they return to their campuses, they’re prepared to witness to their teammates and peers.

UTC sees hundreds of athletes come through the rigorous program every year. As AIA prepared to open for registration for 2024, they ran into a problem. Their registration website crashed and was beyond repair. Maintenance had ceased for the software years earlier.

Mike’s Team Steps in to Help

Our technology team learned of AIA’s predicament and stepped in to assist. We had solutions that could give them even better capabilities. As they weighed their options, AIA chose Cru’s Summer Missions software. Mike has been a part of this project for some time.

It was too late for Mike’s team to be ready for the June UTC. But, when registration opens for the fall camp, AIA will be using the Summer Missions software. They will have a full-service solution for their administrative needs. Having a strong and healthy registration system will allow AIA staff to focus on the athletes. The students are encouraged to finish well as they fight for people’s hearts and souls.
