Mike’s Team Helping Cru’s FamilyLife Ministry

“This conference saved our marriage. We are not just staying in it for our daughter, we are staying in it because we want to!! And we are excited about it. Wish we had these tools before marriage.”

Mike’s Team Helping Cru’s FamilyLife Ministry

For several years, Mike has been overseeing the development of Cru’s Event Registration Tool (ERT).  He’s currently assisting the FamilyLife ministry with their conference needs.

The Event Registration Tool (ERT)

Cru is well-known for our mission’s opportunities and also for our events. It’s crucial across Cru’s many ministries to have high-quality conference software. The ERT is Cru’s tool to help event planners post information for a conference, register participants, and manage the finances. FamilyLife’s Weekend to Remember (WTR) events reach 170,000 people every year. In the United States, FamilyLife holds 80 conferences annually.

Helping FamilyLife Strengthen Marriages

Mike and his team are “working under the hood”: to adjust ERT to FamilyLife’s needs. They are:

  • Changing the FamilyLife website registration.
  • Developing the capacity to offer special discounts and promotions across all WTR events.
  • Capping an event to ensure that Cru doesn’t register more couples than the space will allow.
  • Building the potential for ERT to communicate with other software so that:
    • FamilyLife call center agents can use Salesforce to identify registrants and help them make any changes.
    • Our analytics systems will help keep an up-to-date view on how well the registration counts are doing for each event and allow FamilyLife to target special promotions or discounts.

Mike’s systems expertise has an eternal impact because of the couples finding faith in Christ and learning biblical principles for marriage. (If you want to know more about FamilyLife’s events, see the links in the notes.)

You are vital to our ministry through your financial investments and prayers. We trust that the Lord gives you great joy in knowing you have a part in strengthening marriages.
