The IB Science Fair
Sus was invited by the International Baccalaureate biology teacher to help judge the freshman science fair. She had a fun morning. Some of her favorite projects were: 1) observing if earthworms respond to color, 2) seeing if snails survive freezing temperatures, 3) growing sprouts in a vacuum chamber, and 4) measuring the growth of plants exposed to different music (classical and R&B were the best). It’s A Wonderful Life
After two months of rehearsals, Jenny played Miss Andrews in It’s A Wonderful Life. She had a handful of lines and did them well . . . “I’ve got $242 here, George Bailey, and $242 isn’t going to break anybody!” She is cutting up in costume here with some of the girls who played in the crowd scenes. Ben’s Metal Detector

The pipes are in!
We had our house totally re-piped this week. On Saturday, we will have fourteen holes patched, then we can start painting and moving things back. The boys will want to sleep in their room for the Thanksgiving holiday! There IS a bunk bed under all that STUFF! Just about every room has piles of things we had to move out of the way. We expect for this spot to be transformed! We’ll replace this pile with a beautiful Christmas tree on November 25th.
