Josh is holding on to his part-time job, plus taking 30 credit hours of mechanical engineering for his senior year at the University of Florida. To help him manage his schedule better, we sold him our Toyota Camry. He is planning to drive to work and bike to classes. After Staff Training, we went to visit our financial partners and friends from Green Bay, Wisconsin, to Grand Rapids, Michigan. Instead of turning around and re-tracing our route, we continued the drive and went around Lake Michigan. We slowed our pace and stopped to see lighthouses, beaches,and historic sites. This photo is of the Mackinac Light and Bridge. We also went up to Sault Ste. Marie and saw a little bit of Lake Superior and watched a barge and boats go through the locks. We always have one day off during the middle of Campus Crusade’s National Staff Conference. We usually like to get up into the mountains and do some hiking. After walking around Lily Lake, it started to drizzle, so we went for a little drive and discovered a 1920’s Bucyrus-Erie steam shovel in operation at a museum right along the road in Nederland, Colorado.
