The Sower on CCCI.ORG

I am honored that one of the writers for Campus Crusade’s main web site, ccci.org, asked if he could publish a post from The Sower. He picked the February 8, 2008, article about a recent conversation I had on a flight to Phoenix. It seemed as if I was “unsuccessful” in trying to witness to the man next to me, but I won’t spoil the story line. You can read the story for yourself, if you did not read it a few weeks ago. To read the article, go to ccci.org and click on the third photo with the airplane … Continue reading The Sower on CCCI.ORG

Northern Illinois University Update

“The news from Northern Illinois University last week was heartbreaking,” writes Marc Gauthier, Campus Crusade’s U.S. National Campus Director. “Once again, students and faculty members are dealing with the sort of violence that we prayed would never be seen on a campus again. The post that the reporter used for the article was When the face is familiar. With a circulation of almost 90,000, WWC magazine challenges Campus Crusade’s friends and donors to partner … Continue reading The Sower Quoted in Worldwide Challenge Magazine

I recommend: • an excellent article from Christianity Today, and • also another perspective this article from Chuck Colson’s ministry to help you sort out fact from fiction. An Update on Virginia Tech

The Students Last week was the six-month anniversary of the shootings at Virginia Tech where twenty-seven students and five professors lost their lives. Knowing this, several Christian groups, including Campus Crusade, and twenty-five churches hosted a two-night event on the Virginia Tech campus. • Over 2,500 students, faculty and staff attended on Tuesday • Nearly 5,000 people came on Wednesday, an open-to-the-public event According to one report, over 1,000 response cards were received.
