Ben graduated from the University of Florida in Gainesville with a Bachelor’s of Science degree in physics. He has been hired as a Teacher’s Assistant at Florida State University, where he will pursue a PhD in physics. FSU is also paying for his tuition! All of us are very excited that Ben is starting a career in a field he enjoys. We are also very grateful to the Lord for providing financially for Ben to be able to follow his dream. The clerk watched me rummaging through my purse. I had already paid and should have been walking away. I was pawing through more than seven varieties of tracts trying to find the right one. I felt lighter… and not just because I had just tossed a boxful of unread magazines into the dumpster! For a long time I felt obligated that I must read those magazines. I finally realized it was not going to happen and decided to just toss them out! I definitely had a sense of freedom now that I did not have to find the time in my life or the space in my home for those magazines. Three Men Martyred in Turkey The details were grisly and shocking. The brutal murder of three Christians has the attention of many people in Turkey and around the world. Susanne, the wife of the German missionary, told reporters, “Oh, God forgive them, for they know not what they do,” quoting Jesus’ words on the Cross.
