Campus Crusade’s Redesigned Web Site

We are very excited about Campus Crusade’s new web site. The site now has videos and stories from around the world, plus a ministry locator. You can also find stories from different parts of the world or by various Campus Crusade ministries. Each country has a paragraph about the spiritual climate for the country and many also have stories. We really enjoyed a story about Masai warriors who came to Jesus’ defense. Boxes of Love

Here’s Life Inner City is the compassionate urban ministry of Campus Crusade for Christ. HLIC has ministries in fifteen U.S. cities, one of which is Orlando. Our good friends, Chris and Karen, head the Here’s Life Inner City ministry in Orlando and asked for help to put food in boxes. So, Mike and Jenny helped assemble Boxes of Love this weekend. These boxes are delivered to needy families by local churches working with the HLIC ministry. God has used these gifts of food to reach people and show them the love of Christ. An Update on Virginia Tech

The Students Last week was the six-month anniversary of the shootings at Virginia Tech where twenty-seven students and five professors lost their lives. Knowing this, several Christian groups, including Campus Crusade, and twenty-five churches hosted a two-night event on the Virginia Tech campus. • Over 2,500 students, faculty and staff attended on Tuesday • Nearly 5,000 people came on Wednesday, an open-to-the-public event According to one report, over 1,000 response cards were received.
