Jenny’s Summer Jobs

Halfway through the summer, Jenny landed two part-time jobs. She sold merchandise at Sea World and also had a desk job at Campus Crusade’s headquarters. One day, as she reported to work at Sea World, she got totally drenched. The wardrobe office gave her a change of uniform and a raincoat. Jenn commented how different her two jobs were. The Delivery

“Would you like to have this magazine?” I stared at the Awake magazine twenty inches from my face. Startled, I replied, “no way!” I kept walking and reflected on the encounter. Visiting a New Neighbor

Ben is moved in to his new apartment this week and ready to start work on his first full-time permanent job on Monday. Ben, Mike and Sus took three days to drive (31 hours round trip) with his car and our van packed with his things. We had most of Tuesday to help him unpack and run some errands. We had barely unloaded the van when one of his “neighbors” dropped by to say “Hello.” It appears, though, that this little guy looks more interested in visiting the kitchen than getting to know the new neighbor from Florida!
