Visiting friends in Arizona

Mike had a conference to attend in Albuquerque at the end of January. After the conference, Sus joined him in Phoenix so we could visit donors for a few days. We had a great time and were able to visit five families in three days. For part of the trip, we went north to Prescott. Yes, it is snowing in the picture! Boxes of Love

Here’s Life Inner City is the compassionate urban ministry of Campus Crusade for Christ. HLIC has ministries in fifteen U.S. cities, one of which is Orlando. Our good friends, Chris and Karen, head the Here’s Life Inner City ministry in Orlando and asked for help to put food in boxes. So, Mike and Jenny helped assemble Boxes of Love this weekend. National Staff Training Conference

We are always challenged when we attend Campus Crusade’s National U. S. Staff Conference. This photo is of our president, Dr. Steve Douglass, delivering a very good message on “How to Finish Strong.” Our main speakers were Chip Ingram of Living on the Edge and Dr. Joel Hunter, who looks strikingly like President George W. Bush. Creativity was highlighted several times at this year’s conference. We saw cutting-edge evangelistic short films, produced by upcoming new filmmakers, which appeal to today’s media-oriented students. Successful Trip to Ohio

  Sus had an amazing trip to Ohio to visit donors and she appreciates all your prayers for safe travel. She was able to make the best use of her time by setting appointments before her arrival. She drove all over Ohio from Cincinnati to Xenia to Newark to Wooster to Chardon to Lakewood to Olmsted Township to Amherst and more.
