Jenny’s Summer Jobs

Halfway through the summer, Jenny landed two part-time jobs. She sold merchandise at Sea World and also had a desk job at Campus Crusade’s headquarters. One day, as she reported to work at Sea World, she got totally drenched. The wardrobe office gave her a change of uniform and a raincoat. Jenn commented how different her two jobs were. The Delivery

“Would you like to have this magazine?” I stared at the Awake magazine twenty inches from my face. Startled, I replied, “no way!” I kept walking and reflected on the encounter. Ben Gets a Promotion

Ben was able to come for Memorial Day weekend to help us celebrate Jenny’s graduation. It was great to have him with us for a few days. Ben enjoys living in Washington and likes his work. He also had some good news to share with us. He just finished six months of training to be a patent examiner and because he can review a certain number of patents per week, he was given a promotion.
