The JESUS Film Project recently released a women’s version of the “JESUS” Film, called “Magdalena.” We expect that this film will be especially effective in speaking to women and their needs. An Update on Virginia Tech

The Students Last week was the six-month anniversary of the shootings at Virginia Tech where twenty-seven students and five professors lost their lives. Knowing this, several Christian groups, including Campus Crusade, and twenty-five churches hosted a two-night event on the Virginia Tech campus. • Over 2,500 students, faculty and staff attended on Tuesday • Nearly 5,000 people came on Wednesday, an open-to-the-public event According to one report, over 1,000 response cards were received. Mike helps with new web site enhancements

Recently the “Schmitt’s Family News” (SFN) caught up with a very busy Mike to find out about an important computer project he has been working on for a number of months. SFN: Your project involves a special web site, the Giving site, which thousands of donors use to donate to Campus Crusade for Christ’s staff and ministries. Mike: That’s right! National Staff Training Conference

We are always challenged when we attend Campus Crusade’s National U. S. Staff Conference. This photo is of our president, Dr. Steve Douglass, delivering a very good message on “How to Finish Strong.” Our main speakers were Chip Ingram of Living on the Edge and Dr. Joel Hunter, who looks strikingly like President George W. Bush. Creativity was highlighted several times at this year’s conference. We saw cutting-edge evangelistic short films, produced by upcoming new filmmakers, which appeal to today’s media-oriented students. 1,000 Translations of the “Jesus” film

Campus Crusade has reached a remarkable milestone with the release of the 1,000th translation of the “Jesus” film. Of course, the Jesus Film Project will continue translating with the goal of another 500 translations. This would make the film available to every language with at least 100,000 speakers.
