Saint Augustine

Sus joined Jenny and a bus load of students for a history field trip to Saint Augustine. The weather was beautiful and we had a great time visiting some of the historic sites and museums. We saw carpentry and smithing demonstrations in the Spanish Quarter, then headed to the museum in the Government House. A trip to Saint Augustine is not complete without a visit to Castillo de San Marcos. We even saw a cannon-firing demonstration. Our Annual Beach Trip

For about fifteen years, we have gone to Cocoa Beach every winter for a family weekend. The boys were visiting for Spring Break so we were still able to all go. I’ve put together some photos from over the years. If you are going to be visiting Kennedy Space Center or vacationing on the Space Coast, we can recommend some of the different things we have done in the area. Mike and Sus in Arizona

We enjoyed a wonderful trip to Phoenix February 2 through 5. Mike attended a conference in Albuquerque at the end of January. After the conference, Sus joined him in Phoenix so we could visit donors. We had a great time and were able to visit five families in three days. We arrived on Saturday afternoon, then for dinner, we drove out of the valley and saw a beautiful sunset on our way to Pinnacle Peak Patio for a cowboy dinner of beans and mesquite-grilled steak. Jenny Makes Second Campus Visit

Yes, our youngest is checking out colleges. Last year, we visited Flagler College. Today, we visited University of Florida. We will be going to visit Florida State in about six weeks. I took this photo of Jenny in The Swamp (UF’s stadium) with my little camera on my phone. After the tour, we met Josh and Ben who was visiting from Tallahassee.
