We really enjoyed this lovely plantation. We had a simple breakfast in their restaurant mid-morning and then took a slower pace, enjoying the beautiful grounds before taking the house tour.

Afterwards, we drove along the Mississippi River to see if we could photograph other plantations. We were able to see three more plantations along route 18. If you want a nice day trip you could photograph even more along The River Road between Baton Rouge and New Orleans. Our photos are of Oak Alley, Evergreen, Laura, and St. Joseph.
