Good-bye to 33rd Street

We were able to take ten days to drive up to Erie to help Mom and Dad move. Mike’s brother, sister, and their spouses moved them out the week before and we came the next week to tie up loose ends, put pictures up in their new apartment, and just encourage them.

It was hard for them to leave their home and its 50+ years of memories, but they like their new place and they know it will be easier for them. Their house sold very quickly and they are happy about the new young family that is moving in.

We saw a lot of beautiful flowering trees along the route and, of course, Erie was lovely with forsythia, tulips, hyacinths, and more. We were too busy for doing much photography, but click here for a short photo album of our trip.
