Cru’s April 2026 Worldwide Day of Prayer

Cru’s April 2026 Worldwide Day of Prayer

Since 1951, Cru staff in 190 countries have paused twice a year for a Worldwide Day of Prayer. This spring, Cru’s Orlando headquarters hosted 200 guests. University chaplains from 12 Christian colleges and over 100 Central Florida pastors attended. More than 100 leaders from 50 student ministry organizations also joined us at Cru’s new meeting space next to our main campus.

Dan Allan, Cru’s executive director of Mission Expansion, said this invitation fits Cru’s calling. This calling is “cultivating movements everywhere so everyone knows someone who truly follows Jesus.” Dan emphasized that many callings, backgrounds, and people are needed to fulfill the Great Commission.

Mike and I enjoyed the day. Mike learned about what God is doing through the JESUS Film Project and prayed for their far-reaching ministry.  I joined others meditating on Scripture in the garden.

Thank you for your faithful prayers and support over the years. Your partnership is essential, and we’re grateful for you.

Together, we can make a lasting impact for God’s kingdom.

Prayer Opportunities

Let us know if you have specific prayer requests.

We’ve included links if you would like to pray for a local campus or join our upcoming 40-day prayer chain for Cru’s 75th anniversary this fall.

The video of the Day of Prayer we attended at Cru’s Orlando Headquarters is available on YouTube. It’s almost seven hours long, so you may want to scroll through for music, testimonies, prayer requests, or whatever you might be most interested in.

We learned a new worship song, His Glory and My Good. Here’s one of the verses:

“When I gaze upon His beauty

When I see Him as I should

Then my eyes are lifted upward

For His glory and my good.”
