Jenn graduated this month from Stetson University in DeLand, Florida. She majored in English and German and minored in creative writing and history.

We were delighted that Ben, Bonnie, and Patrick were able to join us for Jenn’s graduation, too.

On May 10^th, we attended an afternoon Convocation in Stetson’s Lee Chapel where top students and professors were recognized with awards.  Jenn and two other gals shared the award for Outstanding Senior in the Honors Program. Jenn was really excited about receiving the Diane Smith Gibson Renaissance Award.

Early Saturday morning, we joined hundreds of enthusiastic families for Commencement in the basketball arena. Jenn graduated magna cum laude, Phi Beta Kappa, and with honors. Afterwards, we drove north to spend the afternoon in St. Augustine and to share a celebration dinner together in Florida’s oldest restaurant, Columbia.

Jenn worked so hard and we’re extremely proud of her! Thank you very much for praying for her and encouraging her. Jenn is already working again at Cru headquarters and will be living with us for a time while looking into graduate school programs. We know we’ll have more adventures and stories to pass along to you from Jenn over the years as she follows her desire to become an English professor.
