I’m so excited right this minute that I could burst! I just created a Facebook group for The Sower. I am hoping you will find this a great place to talk with other Christians about sharing your faith. Just look for The Sower in Groups. I hope you will join me there. I also finished transferring all Xanga posts to the official WordPress site. I started this transfer almost nine months ago. Recently the “Schmitt’s Family News” (SFN) caught up with a very busy Mike to find out about an important computer project he has been working on for a number of months. SFN: Your project involves a special web site, the Giving site, which thousands of donors use to donate to Campus Crusade for Christ’s staff and ministries. Mike: That’s right! Another Reason Why We Are Here

Because God called us to move to Florida when Campus Crusade for Christ moved, we were interested in some facts about Florida that we read yesterday. By 2011, Florida is expected to be the third largest state. Over 1,000 people per day move to Florida. 20,000 foreign-born refugees and immigrants move to Florida each year, more than any other state. Already they number 4.5 million foreign-born here out of a state population of 18 million. The students in the Miami-Dade area speak 167 languages! A Tale of Three Cities

In one day, we “started” three kids in three schools in three cities! Jenny was first as she headed off to high school this morning. She is glad to be a junior, but was not happy that summer vacation is over. She is especially looking forward to her higher level IB theater coursework.
