Our various city ministries combined together to form Cru City. Have You Yelled at Other Drivers?

Staff Training 2013

Cru recently held its biennial conference on the campus of Colorado State University (our venue-of-choice for nearly 40 years). More than 4,500 U.S. missionaries heard from various speakers, including Cleveland pastor Alistair Begg of Truth for Life and author Lisa Harper (popular speaker at Women of Faith conferences). Destroying Speculations

“Sorry,” Raquel apologized for her rumbling tummy. “I didn’t eat breakfast.”

“You know better,” I teased.

Raquel, a nurse, was screening me before I could donate blood.

“My daughter dawdles in the morning so I can’t get her ready and have time for breakfast, too,” she explained.

We chatted some more and then I gave her a “Good News” comic book for her daughter, knowing people always appreciate if we show interest in them or their children.
