Arts Fest

We did not know that for more than twenty years Arts Fest has been offering free admission to different venues in four central Florida counties. We decided to participate. Today, we dropped in on the Out of This World exhibit at the History Center in downtown Orlando. We saw sci-fi props and costumes from Star Trek, Star Wars, and more. Last week, we visited the Cornell Fine Arts Museum on the beautiful campus of Rollins College. We were particularly fascinated with a traveling exhibit, Man and Machine, which featured Soviet posters from Stalin’s time. Downtown Winter Park is next to … Continue reading Arts Fest

The Christian Embassy

Last fall, we met Sam and Nan McCullough. At the time we met them, Sus was helping Nan with her ministry, Entertaining for Eternity. Nan wanted to start a blog, which Sus encouraged her to do. We also drove down Joe Overstreet Road near Kenansville and saw Bald Eagle, Tri-colored Heron, and more, but we were looking for Whooping Cranes. We found them after turning north on Canoe Creek Road. Continue reading Baby Owls
