We’ve been able to explore some of the many good restaurants in DeLand, Florida, often walking from Stetson University campus to the historic downtown. I’ll add to this list over time. We recommend all of these. Restaurants in DeLand, Florida Angelina’s Pizzeria has delicious pizzas and Italian food at affordable prices. Our portions were large, so you could share. Bill & Frank’s Brickhouse Grill has delicious food, but can get too crazy-busy on a weekend night, so try another time. Ben and Josh had frequent flier miles that were going to expire this year, so they went to Seattle for a five-day trip to spend time with friends. They had a great time and apparently liked this caterpillar statue in a museum. Continue reading Ben and Josh in Seattle
After Staff Training, we went to visit our financial partners and friends from Green Bay, Wisconsin, to Grand Rapids, Michigan. Instead of turning around and re-tracing our route, we continued the drive and went around Lake Michigan. We slowed our pace and stopped to see lighthouses, beaches,and historic sites. This photo is of the Mackinac Light and Bridge. We also went up to Sault Ste. Marie and saw a little bit of Lake Superior and watched a barge and boats go through the locks.
