This past Saturday, Josh joined us and helped move Jenny’s things up to the third floor of her dorm. (Mike counted twelve trips up and down.) Mike, Sus, and Jenny drove to Tallahassee so Jenny could check out FSU, since it is one of the top schools for studying creative writing. FSU is currently her top university choice after high school graduation. We took a tour and talked with some professors, then we went to visit Ben. The next day, Ben gave us a tour of the physics department and showed us the laboratory classroom where he teaches. (Jenny is pretending to be one of his students in the photo.) Yes, our youngest is checking out colleges. Last year, we visited Flagler College. Today, we visited University of Florida. We will be going to visit Florida State in about six weeks. We enjoyed watching the UF vs. FSU game on Thanksgiving weekend. Except for Josh, you can see by our clothing that our loyalties are divided. Jenny is thinking about FSU when she goes to college. Ben has his UF shirt on for his alma mater and a FSU hat because he is studying graduate-level physics at FSU. It was great to enjoy the game together because either team could have won!
