Welcome to Mike and Sus Schmitt’s blog. We are both missionary staff with Cru (formerly Campus Crusade for Christ). Mike has been on staff since 1979 and Sus, 1975.
Mike is a Senior Business Systems Analyst for the Digital Products and Services team at the International Headquarters in Orlando. Mike provides valuable expertise on a team designing software to meet the ever-growing needs for digital tools to help Christians in witnessing to and discipling others.
Sus serves as an eMinistry Media Specialist, assisting Cru staff with technology for ministry. Her main medium to do this is through eQuipping for eMinistry, a blog to help anyone have more effective ministry through easily-understood technology.

You might also discover a new way to approach what you’re already doing. If you are baffled by technology or not sure where to start with eMinistry, this site is also for you.
The Sovereign focuses on the soon return of Jesus Christ, King of Kings and Lord of Lords. Sus presents Christ as Creator and Savior to those who don’t yet know Him. She hopes to encourage Christians to be good stewards, to lead holy lives, and to share their faith with non-believers.
