Mike used to say he never wins anything, but this month he won the Grand Prize from our radio station. We all had front row seats at a Christian concert. We also were taken backstage to meet the artists and received their CDs. I am actually writing this in 2008 because we noticed our photo is still on the radio’s web site. Scroll all the way to the end of the photos and we are in the second to the last photo with Steven Curtis Chapman.

We thought we would not be going to the concert because it was expensive to take all of us and we had a previous commitment that weekend, but God had a surprise for us! In order to make it happen, we drove to Gainesville to get Ben, then down to Lakeland for the concert and back home in the wee hours of the night. The next day we drove to Cocoa Beach for our annual winter visit with some friends and some time on the beach. What a fun and memorable weekend! And it was great all five of us could enjoy it together.
