Chocolate Parties in Orlando

Chocolate collage for blog

I had a great time with some lovely friends this past weekend. (You can see Jenn and I in the upper right photo.) Three of our ladies were visiting from Britain and had a memorable and creative afternoon with some American women.

A few months ago I found out about chocolate parties at Farris and Foster’s Chocolate Factory, so I invited some neighbors and friends to a chocolate party; we had a delightful hour or so making chocolates. They had molds, pre-formed shells, lots of fillings, and more. We had to try out the conveyor belt for the chocolate named, The Lucy Station, in honor of the famous “I Love Lucy” chocolate episode.

If you’re looking for a fun thing to do with a group of friends, there’s three locations in Orlando. We chose the Baldwin Park area because I had heard of what a beautiful community it is, so you could add a stroll or lunch in a local restaurant to your day.

My friend, Dayle, wrote a great post about our time together and shares her thoughts on how God delights in us in Happiness is a Dark Chocolate Truffle-and Then Some. She’s got some more photos, too.
