I had already given Jasmin a tract. We were talking further when a van pulled up from a radio station. “Do you listen to that station?” she asked. “No,” I said, “I listen to Z88.3.” “I do, too,” she replied and also mentioned a Spanish radio station. I know her face, I thought, as I chatted with the clerk at Wal-Mart. I remembered I might have given her a tract on one of my shopping trips. You Need Prayer

Are You Ready?

I recently had an encouraging phone call that reading The Sower has helped someone share Christ with a few people. So, I am passing along some practical tips today. Don’t let them overwhelm you. Pick one thing you would like to start doing. Of course, being on good terms with God is the most essential tool for being ready each day to share your faith. What price for salvation?

A young man waited at our door with a container of items at his feet. We have made it a policy not to support things we don’t know about, so I said “no” and then gave him a tract. I really wasn’t surprised later that day to see the tract tossed aside on my neighbor’s sidewalk. I did not “invest” in this young salesman to “gain a hearing” for the Gospel. Just spending time talking to him would have shown I really was interested in him.
