Cru Summer Projects 2014

Cru’s summer projects offer university students an opportunity to make an impact for Christ during their summer break. This year, Cru’s summer project students shared the gospel 76,201 times in places all across the world; 4743 people indicated they made decisions to receive Christ. The students in stateside projects usually hold a job in a specific resort area, spending evenings and weekends with their team as they reach people with the gospel. World Cup 2014 Outreach Opportunities

Outreach Opportunities I’m sure you’re aware the World Cup begins tomorrow. As the largest sporting event in the world, the World Cup will be watched by more than 1 billion people. With this tremendous popularity, we can use this opportunity to share the gospel. Many different parts of Campus Crusade for Christ’s global movement are involved in bringing the good news to the players and fans. We’re also partnering with local churches and ministries to share with those in and around the games. Remembering Black Hawk Down

October 3rd marked the 20th anniversary of the battle in Mogadishu, Somalia, which is chronicled in the best-selling book and movie, Black Hawk Down. U.S. Army Best Ranger Jeff Struecker survived the intense combat, returning last March to film a documentary. Our various city ministries combined together to form Cru City.
