Thank you, again, for praying for Josh after he lost his job at the nuclear plant. He’s feeling assured that pursuing a masters degree at the University of Central Florida was the right new direction to take. He’s particularly interested in power generation and is learning about turbines, heat transfer, and more.
For one of his finals in December, he had to do two engineering problems that took him all day to figure out and six pages of equations! He had quite a feeling of accomplishment figuring out these solutions and earned an A in both of his classes.
In addition to classes, he’s a research assistant in a mechanical engineering lab. The graduate students he’s working with are researching using solar energy to make a power plant even more efficient (among other research projects).
As you continue to pray for Josh, please pray that he would be able to find a good internship with a company later in the year.
NOTE: The image is of the College of Engineering building at UCF in Orlando, Florida and is from the company that installed the A/C during construction.
Dear Sus and Mike, So appreciated your card and thoughts and will pray that Josh finds just the right internship. Thanks for asking me to pray. What a beautiful picture of the two of you. I sit and smile!:) Blessings! Love, Alene and John
