Laying a Foundation through Prayer

Bereans 940

Judy Douglass, wife of the president of Campus Crusade, often says, “The work of God is done on our knees.  Then we go see what happened.”

What a great reminder to  take time to lay a foundation for our work through prayer!

Our Ministry

Besides our work at Campus Crusade for Christ headquarters, we also lead a small group at church. It’s been growing so we now have a group of sixteen active couples. Mike just started a study on the life of David. We appreciate your prayers for Mike as he leads this group. He also has other men do the teaching and coaches them in how to lead a Bible study.

Thank you for praying for us as we encourage our friends in their understanding of the Word and in their love for each other.

Thousand Days of Prayer

Because the JESUS film is often shown in less-developed countries where illiteracy rates are high, our staff determined that a film based on the life of Paul would be a useful tool for grounding new believers in their faith and to help plant new churches. The Paul Project will be a feature film as well as a discipleship series with printed Bible studies. (The project is in the script-writing phase right now.)

If you’d like to join 1,000 people praying for 1,000 days for this project, sign up here.

Praying for the Schmitts

With new technologies available, you could pray for us when opportunities arise.  It’s possible to receive text messages for an important prayer need or emails to let you know what to pray.

If you would like to know of these requests in a timely way, eMail Sus to let us know you want to be on this special prayer team.

We are so grateful for your prayers that have lifted our needs and our ministry before the throne of God.

“Pray in the Spirit at all times and on every occasion.

Stay alert and be persistent in your prayers for all believers everywhere. “

Ephesians 6:18 (NLT)
