Fun Family Christmas 2018

We enjoyed a fun two weeks with Ben, Bonnie, and family AND, later, Josh and Nicole surprised us by driving in from Texas for a few days around Christmas. It’s always special to be with family, especially at Christmas. We had lots of time with all the grandkids. The youngest, Lily, started walking daily towards the end of their stay.

A few days after driving in from D.C., we headed for Naples, Florida, to visit Mike’s parents and family. We had one beautiful, sunny day to spend on the beach.

After heading back to Orlando:

• we spent a day at Legoland,
• we spent an afternoon at Bok Tower Gardens.

It was around this time that Josh and Nicole drove up.

The day after Christmas, Josh and Nicole drove back to Texas. The rest of us explored Shingle Creek regional park in Kissimmee with Ben and family. They had a nice pioneer village and a playground.

Ben, Bonnie, and kids headed back for D.C. the next day. We thoroughly enjoyed being together with so many of our loved ones.
