Thank you for your generosity!
God has abundantly provided, through you, to help me offer better tech training to Cru staff. I’m already researching to replace my painfully slow laptop. Also, I’ll be spending two days evaluating and praying about how to grow my ministry to Cru staff. I appreciate your prayers for God’s guidance on January 22nd and 23rd.
Thank-Yous from Cru Staff to You
I love assisting Cru staff with understanding technology for their ministries. Since September, I’ve received more than the usual thank-yous from them. I thought I’d share these with you because you make my ministry, eQuipping for eMinistry, possible:
“I praise God for your life and the way He blesses us through your gifting. I admire your discipline and commitment, it is a huge encouragement to me. So much that I have asked my husband to have a monthly session to work together taking care of our donor relationships. God bless you and continue blessing so many.” ~ Layo and Luchy, Costa Rica Area of Affairs
“Excellent post with great action steps and timely reminders!!” ~ Tammy, Director of Ministry Partner Development in Colorado
“Thank you for taking the time and effort to get the staff up to speed on all these tools. I feel like I’m a pretty tech-y person, yet I have not taken the time to learn and use all these great features of MailChimp. I was going to say something encouraging…, but I’ll let [the Bible] say it instead: “For God is not unjust, so as to overlook your work and the love that you have shown for His name in serving the saints, as you still do. (Hebrews 6:10)” ~ Dan, Los Angeles High School ministry
I thought the verse from Hebrews was so encouraging. The verse is a blessing to you, too, as you share in the joy and privilege of serving these special people of God.
Besides these emails and social media comments, I’ve even received three handwritten thank-yous in the past year! Here’s a quote from the most recent:
“You are filling a really important niche.
“Staff have been asking me for decades about electronic engagement, and your blog really hits the spot. THANK YOU for standing in the gap for us all.
“You are such an encouragement to me personally.” ~ Bob, Director of Global Fund Development
All these thank-yous and the verse from Hebrews are for you as well. We hope these encourage you. We wanted you to share in the joy of your ministry with us to our fellow missionaries. Thank you for coming alongside us to serve God and Cru staff from around the world.
What a joy to help them reach people with the gospel. Using technology alone will not reach the lost. But it sure can help when over 5 billion people still need to know about salvation in Christ. Technology is one tool God uses to multiply the efforts of thousands of Cru staff to reach the people of the world.
Mike and I are so grateful for you. We enjoy serving at Headquarters doing the work God has called us to with the skills He has given us. You provide the financial and prayer support that makes our ministries possible. Together, we (you + Cru staff + the two of us) are taking God’s good news to billions who are living apart from Him.
