Both Jenn and Bonnie were expecting in May. We knew we would have grandbabies #5 and #6 very close together.
Brian and Jenn’s First Child

Jenn and Brian had a very busy few months leading up to Kent’s birth. They bought a house and moved in as the stay-in-place orders started. Jenn also finished up grading her students’ papers and any other assignments to wrap up her fifth year of grad school. Brian worked on videos for the University of Minnesota.
They thought they might be ready for their firstborn when Kent arrived at 39 weeks.

Kent Richard Carnell was born on May 8th at 11:25 am CST. He was 7 pounds, 12 ounces and 20 inches.
Ben and Bonnie’s Fifth Child
Having a baby for Ben and Bonnie is a family affair. All the siblings were very excited. This little baby was taking her time, arriving a day or two after 41 weeks.

Ben and Bonnie welcomed Abigail Florence Schmitt on May 16th at 9:40 pm EST. She was 7 pounds, 8 ounces and 21 inches.
Bonnie wrote:
We are beyond thankful and overjoyed to welcome our little girl Abigail Florence Schmitt who finally made her debut here at home. I had an amazing birth team and could not have asked for a better birth experience. May you always have the word of Christ dwell richly in you precious Abigail, we love you!
“Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly, teaching and admonishing one another in all wisdom, singing psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, with thankfulness in your hearts to God.” Colossians 3:16 ESV

You know us… you’ll be seeing more photos of these new little ones … and all six of our precious grandchildren. If you want to see a few more and an occasional video, follow Sus on Facebook.
We’re making plans to visit these new grandbabies. We appreciate your prayers that we’ll have safe trips.
Thank you for praying for Kent and Abigail to grow in the knowledge of their Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
Whoop! Double blessings in your family! God bless these little ones and cause them to grow up to be a godly man and woman! ❤
