Our Lord gave the Great Commission (Matthew 28:18-20) to His followers before ascending to take His place at the right hand of God. He commanded us to take the gospel to every person and nation on the face of the earth… no small task! More than seven billion people are alive today. Of those, five billion are living outside the direct influence of believers who could share with them about Jesus.

EveryStudent.com is Cru’s most successful evangelistic website. It’s a safe place for anyone (not just students) to find answers to their questions about God. The site has grown since its beginning in 2000 to 45 languages. All language versions reached close to 60 million people in 2020. Many of these people live in countries closed to the gospel. Last year, 900,000 people indicated decisions for Christ through EveryStudent.com.

At the English version site, over 45% of new believers go into a follow-up process after accepting Christ. It’s unusual for almost half of new believers to enter into immediate discipleship. The following quotes are examples of lives changed by these email follow-up series:
